Father's Day

Jun 21, 2026    Pastor Isaac Munene

Fatherhood is one of the most significant roles a man can hold, yet culture has consistently downplayed its importance. The absence of a father leaves real and lasting wounds, affecting children's mental health, spiritual lives, and future outcomes. Drawing from the Lord's Prayer, God calls fathers to fulfill four core responsibilities: to honor and be honored, to provide, to serve as priests in the home, and to protect their families spiritually. Being a present father is not simply about being in the same house. It means being engaged, intentional, and spiritually active. Fathers are called to pray over their children, speak blessing over them, and model a life devoted to God. God is not asking for perfection. He is asking for presence.
