The Way - Part 17
Life is full of storms, and no one gets through untouched by difficulty. In Acts 27, Paul models what it looks like to hold onto faith when everything around you is falling apart. Caught in a violent storm at sea, he gathered the crew and declared that he believed God, and that things would turn out exactly as God had promised. His faith was not anchored in circumstances but in the unchanging word of God. All 276 people on that ship made it safely to shore, not because the storm was easy, but because one man refused to give up hope. God does not always remove the storm, but He walks with us through it. Sometimes He asks us to let go of our backup plans so that our trust can rest fully in Him. Anchor your soul in the One who cannot lie, and trust that He is writing a story far greater than the storm you are facing today.
