Being led by the Holy Spirit is not reserved for pastors or missionaries. It belongs to every believer. Acts 16 shows us that Spirit-led living includes closed doors, redirections, and seasons of waiting, all of which are part of God's guidance, not signs of His absence. When Paul and Silas were beaten and thrown into prison for doing exactly what God called them to do, they responded with worship at midnight. That praise shook the foundations of the prison, broke every chain, and opened every door. The breakthrough that followed touched not just them but an entire household. God had already been working in every place He led them before they ever arrived. Following the Spirit may involve suffering, but it always leads to victory.
