The Way - Part 10
Jul 12, 2026 • Pastor Caleb Klinge
The early church was known as people of 'the Way,' and one of their most defining characteristics was constant, fervent prayer. In Acts 12, when James was killed and Peter was imprisoned, the church did not despair or demand answers. They prayed without ceasing, and God responded in a way no one expected, sending an angel to free Peter from chains and guards. Disappointment is a test, and what we do in those moments reveals the depth of our faith. Faith is not trusting God because we understand His plan. It is trusting Him because we know His character. When we pray, things begin to move in the unseen realm, and the answer may already be closer than we think. The question is whether we will open the door when it knocks.
